Students Heat It Up at the Speedway

Published: June 22, 2015

The Meridian Dairy Days opened at the Speedway with CWI Night and the Horticulture Street Team was part of the action!

With temperatures rising, the carnival all set and Dairy Days ready to begin, the event kicked off with kid’s bike races followed by the evening's racing. Jacqueline and Patty, Street Team for the night, made sure that everyone at the raceway was sporting their CWI sunglasses as they looked cool in the heat of the night!

The Street Team shared their upgrades with the crowd, it’s a great way for the community to learn fist hand the opportunities available at CWI

It was a very exciting night for the young talent at the track. CJ Stirm, a CWI HS Tuner racer, and current high school student, also won the 100 lap feature event of the night! Similar to taking the lead in a race, students demonstrate courage and determination on a daily basis at CWI. The upgrade U.0 message shared with the crowd was a great fit for the night!
