2027 Emerging Scholars

Published: June 24, 2026

The Emerging Scholars Committee is pleased to announce Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵÍø's (CWI) 2027 Emerging Scholars. Nominated by faculty, students were selected based on their commitment to learning, perseverance, innovative thinking, leadership, and professionalism in and outside of the classroom.

Each Emerging Scholar was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to support their continued academic success.

"I am incredibly grateful to have been selected for this scholarship. As an older, married woman with eight children, opportunities like this are rare, and after applying to several scholarships without success, this award means more than I can fully express," said 2027 Emerging Scholar, Julie Carlson. "These funds will help ease the financial strain on my family and bring peace of mind to a mother's heart as I continue pursuing my nursing degree through CWI. It is both encouraging and deeply meaningful to know that my efforts are being seen."
