Student Care & Conduct

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµÍø (CWI) is committed to fostering supportive and safe community for students. A range of resources are available on campus to address student care and well-being, academic integrity, misconduct, and to ensure a respectful community. 

Explore the information below to learn about the different types of reports you can submit. 

  • Care & Concern

    • Forms may be submitted anonymously and be used by anyone, regardless of their interaction with CWI.
    • Responses to a report can happen within two (2) business days, sooner if communicated.
    • While confidentiality will be maintained through the reporting process, reports may be subject to disclosure through FERPA, FOIA, subpoenas, or other means.

    : Connect a student with support who may be experiencing academic difficulties, personal or family issues, or is in need of advising, coaching, or basic needs.

    Connect students with support and resources who are pregnant, expecting a child, have recently given birth or had a child, expecting to adopt a child, lost a pregnancy, is undergoing fertility treatments or other medical procedures related to pregnancy, or is experiencing discrimination or unfair treatment due to an unexpected pregnancy or their status as a parent.

    : Report a student’s passing to the College.

  • Academic Integrity

    : Report cheating, plagiarism, or minor disruptive behavior in the classroom.

    : Appeal the determination regarding an academic misconduct violation.

  • Student Conduct

    : Report student behavior that violates the Student Code of Conduct.

    Appeal a student conduct decision.

    : Verify completion of sanctions as part of the College’s student conduct process.

    : Report your sex offender status as a student to ensure you are not violating terms and conditions of your parole or probation. This also allows the College to ensure minors are not in classes or co-curricular opportunities in which you are participating.

    : Report concerns/complaints not resolved through direct communication.

  • Respectful Community

    Report incidents of sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, dating or domestic violence, gender-based harassment or bullying, and/or stalking in which the affected person is a student. This form can also be used to report incidents of harassment, bias, or discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, marital status, age, physical or mental disability, or military or veteran status.

  • Hazing Prevention

    The College is committed to providing a safe and supportive educational environment. Acts of Hazing have no place within the CWI community and are not tolerated under any circumstances. If you have been hazed as part of joining a student club or group, whether it is recognized or not, or if you are aware of acts of hazing that have occurred within our community, you are strongly encouraged to report it using the form linked below. The College takes all reports of hazing seriously and will respect requests for anonymity by both reporters and survivors of hazing. All reports of hazing will be investigated and student, organization or employee disciplinary proceedings may be initiated when appropriate. Retaliation against any member of the CWI community for reporting an act of hazing or assisting in the investigation or other proceedings is strictly prohibited and will be addressed as a seperate violation of the student or employee handbook.

    : A simple form that can be completed anonymously to inform the College of potential or alleged acts of hazing.

    Reports can also be filed with the Dean of Students, by contacting Campus Safety & Security, or through the the .

    A range of support is available for survivors and witnesses of hazing. The Dean of Students can assist you in determining what supports may be appropriate to ensure all students impacted by hazing are able to continue working toward their educational goals effectively, and without fear of retaliation.

    The College also takes steps to prevent acts of hazing from occurring. Student Affairs and Campus Safety & Security work together to use evidence based strategies and programming to educate the community about how to identify, respond to, and report hazing. Information about hazing is also available at programs and events each semester, and presentation are available to student organizations on building strong teams and group cohesion without hazing.   • Emergency Assistance

    • Call Campus Security at 208.562.3333, or activate any blue emergency phone on campus.
    • Dial 9-1-1 for immediate medical or safety assistance.
    • If Immediate help is needed:
      • Go to a safe location.
      • Seek medical attention if injured.
