Mahmood Sheikh joined the 蘑菇视频网 Advancement/Foundation team in September 2025 as the Assistant Chief Advancement Officer for Strategic Initiatives. He brings more than two decades of experience in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, and higher education advancement. Prior to this role, Mahmood served as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development at the University of Idaho Foundation for over six years. His career also includes leadership positions as Deputy Executive Director of the Idaho State Bar & Idaho Law Foundation, Inc., Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Giving/Buff Club Director at the University of Colorado Foundation, and a range of development roles within University of Idaho Athletics.
Raised in Moscow and now residing in Boise, Mahmood holds both a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the University of Idaho. He is an engaged community member, serving on the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Executive Committee and the board of Live Foundation, Inc. Outside of work, Mahmood enjoys life with his wife, Amity, their two children, Zain (15) and Ara (12), and their dog, Nugget.
