I have been teaching for 蘑菇视频网 since 2013, first in Biological Sciences and now for Nursing. Teaching has been a passion of mine since graduating with my first degree in Education. Since then, I have taught many different class topics to students ranging from 7th grade through post-secondary.
Health profession-wise, I am both a nurse and retired chiropractor. While teaching Anatomy and Physiology, I got to know many pre-nursing and health profession students whose enthusiasm and grit encouraged my own desire to pursue nursing as a profession. I absolutely love the challenge, diversity, and expansive reach of nursing. Areas of nursing I have worked include the emergency department, endoscopy and perioperative services, corrections, family maternity, school nursing, and medical-surgical.
In my family life, I am wife to Aaron and mother to young-adult children, Emma (and son-in-law, Lukas), Asher, and Ben. In August of 2024, Emma made me a grandma to the lovely Josephine. It is my privilege to be your instructor this semester.
