Kayla Adams has been a part of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵÍø (CWI) community since 2010, first joining as a student. A year later, she began working in the Instruction Department through the work-study program and, by Spring 2013, transitioned into her current full-time role as Administrative Assistant for the School of Arts and Humanities. In this position, Kayla provides vital support to the Dean, Assistant Dean, and faculty across four departments: English, Visual and Performing Arts, Modern Languages, and Integrated Studies. She also assists with college-wide programs such as General Education, CWI 101, and Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), helping to ensure smooth operations and student success.

Kayla earned her first Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from CWI before returning to pursue her passion for sign language. She became the first graduate of CWI’s Associate of Arts in Sign Language Studies program, later completing her bachelor’s degree in Sign Language Interpreting at Idaho State University. She is now working toward licensure to interpret professionally within the community.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.
