Christina Moore is proud to call Idaho home. A Boise native, she earned both her B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Plant Science from the University of Idaho. As an undergraduate and graduate research assistant, her work was deeply “rooted” in Idaho’s agricultural heritage, exploring host-plant resistance, integrated pest management of Russian wheat aphids, transposons in maize, genetic transformation techniques, and in-vitro plant tissue culture of horticultural crops.

After completing her graduate studies, Christina returned to Boise to continue her work in genetic crop improvement, focusing on one of her favorite foods: potatoes.

Inspired by a passion for science and a desire to show students that biology is life, Christina joined the ĢƵ in 2010. As online learning began to expand, she became dedicated to ensuring students received engaging, high-quality instruction in this new environment. This commitment led her to earn a second master’s degree in Educational Technology, with an emphasis in Online Learning, from Boise State University.

Christina is focused on creating online anatomy and physiology courses that promote curiosity, accessibility, and academic excellence. She integrates evidence-based teaching practices and innovative digital tools to help students connect course concepts to real-world biological systems, preparing them for entrance into pre-professional and Healthcare programs. Her collaboration in developing CWI’s first fully online Human Anatomy and Physiology courses and hybrid “Flex” laboratory instruction reflects her ongoing dedication to expanding learning opportunities through thoughtfully designed online education.
