CTE Ambassador Program

Support and encourage fellow Career and Technical Education (CTE) students, and earn up to $600 a semester as a CTE Ambassador at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµÍø (CWI)!  

    • Role

      As a CTE Ambassador, you will dedicate your time to: 

      • Create a welcoming and informative environment for incoming students.
      • Serve as a resource for information about academic policies, programs, and on- and off-campus resources and activities.
      • Encourage exploration of CTE programs and careers aligned with individual interests, talents, and abilities.
      • Research and share CTE program details to address student questions. 
      • Share how the Center for New Directions and Work-Based Learning Center can support students' career goals.
      • Assist students in navigating their Handshake account. 
      • Model creative and intellectual inquiry while serving as an academic and social roll model. 
      • Demonstrate strong customer service skills to engage students. 
      • Encourage student interaction during tabling events. 
      • Prepare and print materials for events and provide feedback to supervisors to enhance student support. 
    • Responsibilities

      Key responsibilities of CTE Ambassadors include:

      • Hosting 1–2 pop-up events weekly.
      • Printing and distributing flyers and brochures.
      • Assisting with scheduling Work-Based Learning Center appointments.
      • Answering questions about CTE programs.
      • Interacting with and supporting fellow CTE students.

      Ambassadors will help build a strong CTE support network with outreach and presence across campus at the following locations:

      • (NCAB)
      • (NMEC)
      • (APIN)
      • (CYNC)
